Coming-of-age, cancer, romance, and trying to survive the complex world of high school? It sounds like a manipulative concoction, one pre-mixed to score maximum tears, but the buzz on "Me And Earl And The Dying Girl" is the complete opposite. In fact, we wrote in our review out of Sundance — where the movie picked up the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award — that it's a "wonderfully funny, bittersweet, and inventive picture will headlock even the most cynical-hearted viewer and turn him or her into emotional mush."
