Cannes: Watch The First Clip From Gus Van Sant's 'Sea Of Trees' Starring Matthew McConaughey And Ken Watanabe
On the surface, Gus Van Sant's upcoming, Cannes-contending "Sea Of Trees" might seem like a minimalist downer: a suicidal American (Matthew McConaughey) on his way to die befriends a Japanese man (Ken Watanabe) lost in the dense Aokigahara forest near Mt. Fuji, and the two search for a way out. But according to McConaughey, there's positivity to be found.
