Watch: Trailer For 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Unrated Blu-Ray Edition, Will Also Feature An Alternate Ending
While Universal is still trying to figure out how to make stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, along with author E.L. James happy to return and make the sequel to "Fifty Shades Of Grey," they aren't done marketing the box office hit yet. While things quickly tapered off for the movie, it still amassed over $555 million worldwide (and it should be noted, 70% of that came from overseas), and the studio is hoping to pad the bottom line when the movie hits home video this spring. And of course, they'll be adding a couple of kinky extras in there for fans.
"Fifty Shades Of Grey" will be arriving in an unrated version, which will also feature an an alternate ending. As you might recall, one of the many battles E.L. James had with Sam Taylor-Johnson was over the film's literal final word, so perhaps we'll see what the director originally had in mind.
"Fifty Shades Of Grey" hits digital HD on May 1st and Blu-ray on May 8th. Don't forget the handcuffs....
