'Birdman' & 'Boyhood' Win Big At The 2015 Critics' Choice Awards

Last night, Hollywood gathered for more celebration, more statue-appropriation, and certainly more cocktails and finger foods at the 15th Critics' Choice Awards. While the results for this ceremony don't have much bearing on the Oscars and is perhaps a closer cousin to the Golden Globes insofar as it recognizes distinction in action, horror and sci-fi movies, it's a time for the stars and critics to mingle. So, who were the big winners? "Birdman" and "Boyhood," which it shouldn't be too much of a shock given the way the momentum has been going for both movies over the past few months.

Alejandro G. Inarritu's film led the way with seven wins, including two trophies for Michael Keaton who won for Best Actor and Best Actor In A Comedy, along with prizes in Cinematography, Screenplay, and Editing (the latter particularly sweet since the Oscars couldn't be bothered to nominate the film for its audacious one-take concept).
