Nico Schlotterbeck from Borussia Dortmund
There was a lot of speculation over Skriniar's new club in the summerof this year, which included Paris Saint Germain looking the most confident about attracting him to join the Slovakian player to join the French League. However, the idea hasn't come to fruition, and Skriniar finds himself fighting for a chance to FUT 23 Coins win back the top spot within the French League.
"Wins to Watch" implies that players' teams win three of their next eight domestic matches (starting on September 30,), then they get an additional stats upgrade that is equivalent to a different in-form. Therefore, should Man City win 3/8 games, Haaland gets another +1 over and above in-form updates he receives. (Lol 'if'.)
Nations to Watch means that anyone who has a Ones to Watch card whose country is involved with this year's World Cup will receive a one-time form upgrade if the team they represent wins during the tournament. There are some tough times for Erling on this issue, it appears, due to Norway's non-participation. ('Tough times for Erling' is not something we expect to write on many other occasions this year/decade/millennium.)
Additionally, Nations to Watch players don't need to be picked for the national team to receive the upgrade, so even if Gabriel Jesus somehow doesn't make it into Brazil's squad, and his countrymen win victory in Qatar or elsewhere, the Arsenal player will still be eligible for an additional +1.
Finally, it is worth noting there is a limitation to Ones to Watch players do not receive upgrades in conjunction with other promo cards. Therefore, if Tyler Adams gets some sort of wild 90+ card in April as part of an exciting new promo called Factsmashers or whatever it is, his OTW won't be upgraded to reflect the new promo. (Sorry Tyler. If this makes you feel better, then you're in practically everyone's pre-order OTW Pack.)
The market's bizarre transfer behaviour meant that it was usually practical and affordable to acquire good promo players to your team even within a few days of their debut. That may yet prove to be the case in FIFA 23, but at present, the top Ones to Watch players are likely cost you a substantial premium. Since they've received no upgrades at all and are not receiving any upgrades, it's hard to recommend spending any coins on them.
At the bottom of the spectrum, Nico Schlotterbeck from Borussia Dortmund is averaging around 14k coins at a cost of 4k higher than his current price. He's a decent starting centre-backbut doesn't have the desirable FIFA 23 buy Coins 'Lengthy running style', and despite Dortmund's lack of form, it's not difficult to imagine him locking in the Wins to Watch upgrade in the coming weeks.
