MSY wants Yash Bharti for honest officers

Praising chief minister Akhilesh Yadav's efforts to revive the Yash Bharti awards and to expand its reach, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday said the award should also be conferred on bureaucrats who discharged their administrative duties effectively. Complimenting the state government for the grand scale of the award ceremony, and for awarding people in the fields of literature to sports, music and health, the SP chief said that deserving persons who had been left out of the list of awardees may be accommodated by the government later.
