Missouri's Eli Drinkwitz says possible starting RT may miss start of season

Mizzou may be without one of its high-profile transfer additions to begin the 2026 season. On Wednesday as he wrapped up Missouri football’s spring practices, Mizzou head coach Eli Drinkwitz said that Arizona State transfer offensive tackle Josh Atkins, who appeared to be the frontrunner to start for the Tigers at right tackle, sustained a leg injury in fall camp and could miss the start of the 2026 season.
