Eagle Valley brought six athletes to the 2026 Nike Indoor National Meet, held at The Armory in New York City last weekend. Roughly 5,500 athletes from 48 states competed at the three-day event from March 12-15 in ‘championship’ or ’emerging elite’ categories. The fields included 16 U.S. No. 1-ranked athletes and four national record holders. Eagle Valley junior Tiago Horruitiner placed fifth in the ’emerging elite’ long jump with a mark of 21 feet, 10.75 inches and finished 34th with a jump of 6-02 in the championship high jump.
