Three Rivers' Smith, Webster and Bronson's Knisely win state championships

DETROIT — Three individuals earned state championships this past weekend at Ford Field in Detroit. MacKenna Webster and Louis Smith of Three Rivers, plus Layne Knisely of Bronson all finished with perfect records at Ford Field and claimed state titles. Webster finished her senior year with a record of 42-1. She beat Brynna Alwell of Allen Park by pinfall in the third period of the match on Saturday evening inside Ford Field. "I never doubted it.
