Norwich Tech’s Lyon named athlete of the week; vote in new poll

Norwich Tech senior Brett Lyon has been voted The Bulletin athlete of the week for Feb. 2-7. The Golden Eagles senior forward scored 25 points in a 95-48 boys basketball win against Goodwin Tech. Lyon also had 13 points in Ellis Tech’s 64-60 loss against Classical Magnet in Hartford. Last week saw plenty of standout performances in boys basketball, girls basketball, boys and girls indoor track and field, and girls wrestling across Eastern Connecticut.
