State champion Abualneel helping keep Plano East boys basketball rolling

If the 2023-24 season was Plano East senior Moustafa Abualneel's initiation into varsity basketball, the 6-foot-6 forward had the perfect group of teammates to learn from. At the time, Abualneel was the lone sophomore on the roster during the Panthers' historic run to a 40-0 record and a Class 6A state championship, contributing off the bench while learning firsthand during one of the all-time seasons in Plano ISD athletics history—a blueprint that would serve Abualneel well in the two years that allowed. × This page requires Javascript.
