Slavia win Czech women’s indoor title
SK Slavia Prague won the Czechia women’s indoor Extra Liga as they defeated Hradec Kralove 5-1 in last weekend’s final, ensuring another European trip.
Their agenda sees them head to Poland in two weeks time for the women’s EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup before returning outdoors for the EHL FINALS at Easter.
In the decider, they went ahead just before the end of the first quarter when Lucie Duchková converted flawlessly from a corner.
In the 14th minute, Adéla Lehovcová increased Slavia’s lead and she made it 3-0 after half-time. Nikol Babická joined her ion the scoresheet before Lehovcová completed her hat-trick at the beginning of the final quarter.
Hradec got a consolation goal thanks to Karolína Lojanova but it was Slavia’s title once more.
