Project partners scrap plans for Madison Township sanitary sewer extension

A major infrastructure project in Madison Township that was supposed to take place in 2026 won’t be moving forward because of excessively high construction bids. Madison Township and the Lake County Utilities Department have reconsidered plans to build a new sanitary sewer trunk line on a one-mile stretch of Route 20 in the township. This sewer line would have been installed on Route 20 from just west of Green Road to slightly west of Haines Road.
