Soquel High’s boys basketball team shined again on defense, and the Knights beat host Aptos 52-23 on Saturday to secure no worse than a share of the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League title. It’s the Knights’ first league title since 2012-13. Soquel (17-5 overall, 8-0 league), ranked No. 19 in the Central Coast Section by maxpreps.com, has held opponents to 40 or less points eight times this season.
