Milestones abound in first half of Region's girls basketball season

The first half of the Monroe County Region girls basketball season has been packed with milestones. Three players have surpassed 1,000 career points. Airport’s Olivia Gratz got the party started by reaching a grand during the basketball showcase hosted by her team on Dec. 30. The New Year brought more fun. Jaeli Jones of Summerfield joined the 1,000-point club on Jan. 16 and Flat Rock’s Madleen Hussein followed suit six days later.
