Illinois basketball keeps winning. Here is its newest national ranking

Illinois basketball jumped two sports to No. 11 in the newest USA TODAY Network coaches poll, released Monday, Jan. 19. Illinois (15-3, 6-1) has won seven games in a row, including two Big Ten Conference games this week, at Northwestern and at home vs. Minnesota. They have a big game Saturday at Purdue. The Illini remain one of five Big Ten teams ranked in the poll. The Illini are fifth in the league behind No. 2 Michigan, No. 4 Purdue, No. 7 Nebraska and No. 10 Michigan State.
