SAUGERTIES, N.Y. — Saugerties High’s boys basketball team battled back from a 13-point halftime deficit to beat New Paltz 59-55 in a Mid-Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) clash on Friday, Jan. 16. Trailing 34-21 at the half, the Sawyers (3-1 MHAL, 7-4 overall) took their first lead with two minutes to go and held on for the win.
