Enterprise basketball defeats U-Prep in Jamie Angley Classic championship game
From Day 1 of the Jamie Angley Classic, it seemed like U-Prep and Enterprise boys basketball were heading on a collision course toward the championship game. After the Panthers (7-4) beat Eureka and the Hornets (12-1) beat Weed on Day 2, the fans got what they were waiting for, and the matchup did not disappoint. When the teams faced off on Wednesday, Dec. 31, it was the Panthers who outscored the Hornets 16-10 after the first quarter behind strong scoring efforts from senior forward Tommy Smith and sophomore guard Shane Allman.
