Anupamaa serial update: Is Anuj the prisoner with a new face? Will Anu be able to find out the truth?

Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa is the top TV serial. In the recent episode of the show, we have seen that Anu has finally bid goodbye to her daughter Rahi. Rahi got married to Prem and it was not an easy task. Anu faced a lot of humiliation because of the Kothari family. Moti Baa and Parag never wanted Rahi to marry Prem. However, they saw how much Prem loves her and knew that only Rahi can bring Prem back home. However, they want Rahi to be at home and forget all her dreams. After a lot of struggles and issues, Rahi and Prem finally got married.

However, Anu has been worried if the Kotharis will become a hurdle for Rahi or not. After the wedding, Anu will now see a new chapter in her life. She will now have a new problem. As per the promo released, Anu gets a call from the central jail where she goes to teach dance to the prisoners who are on their way to get released. This scene of the show became a big story in entertainment news and TV news.

In the jail, she meets a man with full grown beard and is kept separately due to anger issues. In the upcoming episodes of Rajan Shahi's Anupamaa, we will see Anu will get shocked to see that man in the jail. She will reportedly remember how Anuj was when he was in the depression zone.

Anu will start trying to know more about him. It has been rumoured that the man might be Anuj in a new phase. However, nothing has been confirmed yet. But if the rumours are true, will Gaurav Khanna never return as Anuj?
