CID new season to stream on Netflix: Netizens share hilarious reactions, 'Daya se Netflix ka darwaza...'
Last year, when Kapil Sharma made a transition from the small screen to Netflix, fans were excited to see what he had to offer. His show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, is one of the most loved series on the OTT platform, but it seems that wasn't enough and the streaming giant wants to serve the best entertainment to their subscribers. Yesterday, the OTT platform made a big announcement that the new season of CID will be streaming on Netflix.
Yes, you read it right! CID is now on Netflix. The popular crime detective show is one of the longest-running Hindi dramas that would air on Sony TV and aired its first episode in 1998. The show features Shivaji Satam, Adita Shrivastav, and Dayanand Shetty in the lead roles. 'Daya darwaza todd' is something you will hear after the 'Tudum' beat. Netflix India captioned the post on Instagram, "CID, ab Netflix ke darwaze par bhi. Kal se dekhiye CID naye season ke saare released episodes Netflix par bhi! Saath hi naye episodes har Shanivaar aur Ravivaar raat 10 baje."
As soon as Netflix dropped the teaser, the comments were filled with interesting and fun reactions. One person wrote, "Netflix won't let me study for my boards ong." Earlier, in an interview with Tribune, Dayanand Shetty, who plays Daya shared excitement of CID returning on screens. The actor said, "It's not just me; the entire team is very excited and even our fans are thrilled. We are returning after six years and the response we've received from the fans, the emotions they expressed, made us feel that the show shouldn't have ended so soon. People continued to follow the show, even old episodes were being re-watched! So I can't be happier to reprise my role as the beloved Daya, who will break down even more doors in this new edition of the show."
