Shahid Kapoor REVEALS the experience of hosting an award show with Shah Rukh Khan: 'I wasn't...'

Shahid Kapoor is all set to entertain us with his upcoming movie Deva in a few days. The actor has got the fans excited with the solid trailer, which was released a few days ago. Amidst all this, he has also been interacting on various platforms and portals about his life, career, and journey. In a recent interview, the Haider actor opened up about the nervousness he felt like hosting an award show with Shah Rukh Khan.

Shahid Kapoor can do it all. His dance performances during the award shows prove why he is one of the best dancers in Bollywood. He even showcased his hosting skills in the past by hosting a ward show. While he looked confident to us on screen, the actor recently revealed that he was quite nervous and uncomfortable. The actor had to be on stage with Hema Malini and Shah Rukh Khan.

The Jab We Met actor revealed, "It was a lot of fun. I was also very nervous because I think I was hosting with Shah Rukh sir for the first or second time. I was very comfortable dancing on the stage, but I was not very comfortable hosting. So, he made me feel extremely comfortable. I was standing in front of two legends, thinking, 'I have made it.' I was so happy standing in front of two legends Hema (Malini) ji on one side and Shah Rukh sir on the other."

Further in this entertainment news, Shahid told SCREEN that he also has some fun memories and has learnt a lot. Kapoor called SRK one of the best hosts, along with being a superstar on screen. Shahid recalled how SCREEN used to be the first award of the year and used to happen between January 1st and 10th. "The weather also used to be great and we used to have a really good time. So, it's a lovely memory."

Coming to Delhi, along with Shahid, it also stars Pooja Hedge, Pavail Gulati, and Kubbra Sait. Directed by Rosshan Andrews, it will hit theatres on January 31, 2025.
