Every Bollywood celebrity aspires to collaborate with Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan. Big B, also known as Angry Young Man, has time and again managed to win millions of hearts with his charismatic personality. The veteran star of Bollywood was keen to work with beautiful actresses in Hindi cinema. But one actress was not ready to work with Amitabh Bachchan in a film. Can you guess who it is?

The late actress Sridevi refused to work with Amitabh Bachchan. Sridevi was said to be Hindi cinema's first female superstar. Well, the late choreographer Saroj Khan, who was working on a song with Sridevi recalled a scene in the book 'Sridevi: The Eternal Screen Goddess' authored by Satyarth Nayak. As per reports, Sridevi was showered with flowers by Amitabh Bachchan to work with him on the 1992 film Khuda Gawah.

She said, 'We were filming a song when the truck arrived. They made Sridevi stand near it and the whole carrier tilted over, showering roses on her. It was quite a visual'. Amitabh Bachchan's idea made Sridevi accept his offer. She was moved by the lovely gesture and could not say no to him. She had one condition which was that she would co-star with Big B in a movie where she would portray Amitabh's daughter and wife. Filmmakers Manoj Desai and Mukul Anand agreed to her condition, casting the two actors in Khuda Gawah, one of their greatest hits till date.

Ramesh Sippy signed Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi for double roles in his film Ram Ki Seeta Shyam Ki Geeta before Khuda Gawah, but the film did not work out. The last time the two worked together in a film was English Vinglish which was directed by Gauri Shinde in 2012. Amitabh Bachchan made a guest appearance in the movie.
