Golden Globes 2025: Benny Blanco kisses Selena Gomez in first public appearance since engagement

Before tonight's Golden Globes, Selena Gomez and her fianc , Benny Blanco, had never appeared on the red carpet together. That didn't happen at the ceremony this year either. But, Blanco was with Gomez inside the show, where they shared many sweet moments, even kissing at one point.

For the ceremony, Gomez stunned in a gorgeous custom Prada crystal blue satin gown. The dress featured off-shoulder straps, wrap details at the sides, cinched waist and geometric panels. For her hairdo, Gomez donned a side-parted bob with soft curls. She finished off her look by adding a pair of blue satin pumps, which added both sophistication and edge to her appearance. Fianc Benny Blanco looked in a white Ralph Lauren suit.

While talking about the couple, Nikki Glaser said, "Selena Gomez is here, a double nominee tonight for Emilia Perez and Only Murders [In The Building], and she's here tonight with her new fiance, Benny Blanco." "And Benny Blanco is here because of the genie that granted that wish. Man, lucky guy," she laughed. The couple showed no inhibitions in sharing a laugh at the joke, with the actress pretending to be the lucky one, while Blanco kissed her on the shoulder.

Gomez lost this year's Golden Globes for best performance by a female actor to in a supporting role to Emilia P rez costar Zoe Salda a.

"I don't even know what to write. I'm so proud of @zoesaldana and I am so grateful and honored @goldenglobes," Gomez had posted while sharing a video of herself wherein she reacted to the nominations.

After dating for more than a year, both Gomez and Blanco had announced their engagement on Instagram in December 2024. "hey wait that's my wife," Blanco posted in the comment section of Gomez's post. It had featured photos of her diamond ring. Gomez was initially linked to the producer in December 2023. She confirmed they were dating when she liked fan account posts on Instagram of the two. She even commented, "He is my absolute everything in my heart."
