The year 2025 started with Maddock Films announcing its thrilling slate of the horror-comedy universe. After Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya, the team has bigger movies coming up from 2025 to 2028. While some are sequels, some are new additions. We already know the cast of Thama. But there are some films about which we have no idea. Amidst all this, reports are going viral that Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have joined the universe. So is it true? Keep reading.
SRK, Salman Khan Maddock's horror-comedy universe
A post is going viral on social media that mentions that Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are a part of Maddock's Doosra Mahayudh, the final film from the horror-comedy universe releasing on October 18, 2028. Someone posted a Wikipedia screenshot that mentions that Salman and SRK are a part of the cast. The rest of the cast includes Bhediya's Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, Stree's Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, Thama's Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmina Mandanna and Munjya's Sharvari and Abhay Verma, amongst others.
Seeing Shah Rukh and Salman's names got everyone excited. However, this is a WIKIPEDIA screenshot and the page can be edited. We would like to inform our entertainment news readers that Dinesh Vijan or the movie's team has not made any official announcement regarding the casting of Doosra Mahayudh. So far, there is no truth to the reports of the Khans joining the horror-comedy franchise.

However, we can still have some hope when it comes to Shah Rukh Khan. In 2024, there were reports that SRK met with both Stree and Bhediya director Amar Kaushik for a collaboration. So far, there have been no updates on the same. All we can do is wait for Maddock to make an official announcement and create excitement about what to expect from their amazing slate.
