'Just want to stay positive...' Anupamaa's new Rahi, Adrija Roy answers if she fears overnight replacement from the show

Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa is in the news for all wrong reasons right now. We have seen so many actors leaving the show and many have said that they left because of Rupali. The show took a leap and we have seen a fall in the TRPs. Gaurav Khanna aka Anuj also left the show. Shivam Khajuria and Alisha Parveen entered the show as the lead couple. They were loved by the audience as Prem and Rahi. They did an amazing job together but suddenly, Alisha was removed from the show overnight. She said that she had no idea why it happened as she was not given reason and was just asked to stop shooting.

She expressed her displeasure over being removed overnight and not being given time. She shared that she had a three year contract with them and that too was broken. Post her ouster, Adrija Roy was cast as Rahi. Adrija has shared her excitement on joining the show.

Adrija Roy talks about job security

She recently spoke to India Forums and she was asked if she thought about job security before joining Anupamaa as Alisha and many other stars have been replaced overnight by Directors Kut Productions. Adrija Roy shared that she honestly did not think so much and for her the show and working with DKP is more important.

She added that if she gives her 100 percent she will get success but if not, even she can be removed. She further shared that she does not want to think negative and she has only got positivity in the previous projects that she did. She said that even now she is getting positivity in Anupamaa and it has just been a few days.

She concluded, "I just want to stay positive and do not want any sort of negativity, ab dekhte hai."
