'Careers are destroyed', Kangana Ranaut supports Blake Lively against the ongoing smear campaign

Kangana Ranaut often shares her views when something happens in the entertainment world. From #MeToo to the Hema Committee Report, the actress often voices her opinions on such big movements and cases. Currently, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are in the news as the actress filed a legal complaint against Baldoni alleging sexual harassment and a smear campaign aimed at damaging her image during the promotions. Justin and Blake worked together in It Ends With Us in 2024, which he also directed.

Kangana Ranaut stands with Blake Lively

Several Hollywood stars have come in support of Blake Lively and her stand against Justin Baldoni for his alleged misbehaviour. Now, Kangana Ranaut has also shared her support for the Gossip Girl actress. Ranaut took to her Instagram page to share her views on the matter and stated how careers are destroyed with such smear campaigns. On Instagram, Kangana wrote, "Even in Hollywood women who refuse to compromise, they are maligned and their careers are destroyed its not just Bollywood similar report called Hema Committee had come out about Malayalam film industry, it is worrying and shameful."

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in emergency. It will mark Ranaut's debut as a director, in which she plays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, and Mahima Chaudhry. The release date of the film is not yet out.
