Allu Arjun arrest: Pushpa 2 actor goes back home; reunites with family after spending a night in jail
Pushpa 2: The Rule actor Allu Arjun was arrested yesterday in the case related to the death of a woman during stampede at Sandhya theatre. During the premiere night, the actor and his team had arrived at Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad. Fans went crazy leading to a stampede situation outside the theatre. A 39-year-old woman lost her life. Her son also had to be hospitalised. An FIR was filed by the family of the deceased. Thus, actor Allu Arjun was arrested. However, within a few hours, the actor managed to get interim bail.
Allu Arjun returns home
Yesterday, the Telangana High Court granted interim bail to Allu Arjun. The actor had filed a plea requesting to squash the FIR filed against him. An urgent hearing of the case was requested by Allu Arjun's counsel after he got arrested. During the hearing, the High Court observed that the actor cannot be prima facie be held accountable for the mishap. The court granted him four weeks of interim bail subject to execution of personal bond of Rs 50000. It was expected that the star will get released yesterday and go home. However, Allu Arjun had to spend a night in jail. His advocate, Ashok Reddy had spoken to the media and said, "The High Court directed the jail authorities to release Allu Arjun forthwith, yet he remains in custody. This morning, Allu Arjun's father Allu Aravind and his father-in-law were spotted entering Chanchalguda Jail premises as the actor was going to get released. As per the latest reports coming in, Allu Arjun has been released from jail and is on his way home.
