Allu Arjun granted interim bail by Telangana High Court in Pushpa 2 stampede case
Pushpa 2: The Rule has become the talk of the town. The movie has been doing an amazing job at the box office. It has almost crossed the Rs 700 crores mark and is winning hearts. Everyone is in love with Pushpa 2 and cannot stop praising the performances by the actors. However, we saw many controversies have also come along with this. During a special screening at Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad, a stampede occurred when Allu Arjun came there for the screening. In the stampede, a woman died and one of her kids is in serious condition. Post this, Allu Arjun was held responsible for the same.
Allu Arjun granted bail
He was arrested today a few hours back in this case. This news left everyone shell shocked. Allu Arjun was arrested and remanded to 14 days of judicial custody. However, the good thing is that he has now been granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court. The investigations will continue in this mishap. The Telangana High Court has said that there was no malafide action associated with Allu Arjun in this death case.
He has been granted interim bail for a period of four weeks. And, the court set a personal bail bond of Rs 50,000. Earlier, Allu Arjun's lawyer had said in the court that the actor had no idea that his visit to Sandhya theatre would lead to such stampede. He had added that a case of culpable homicide was not applicable and that the victim's death happened due to asphyxiation caused by the crowd surge and not because of any act by the actor.
Recently, the husband of the victim, Revathi said that he got to know that Allu Arjun was arrested and that he is ready to withdraw the case. He said that the actor has nothing to do with his wife's death.
