The superstar's mansion has become a kind of monument, and many people who visit Mumbai make sure they stand outside his house. We have seen hunderds of fans gather outside their house on SRK's birthday and during the festival. Khan makes a point to come out on his balcony to greet his fans. Well, there's a big update on the lavish mansion.

SRK, Gauri's Mannat to be expanded?

As reported by several entertainment news portals, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are planning to expand Mannat. Gauri, who is also an interior designer, submitted an application to seek expansion permission at the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA). The application was submitted last month in which she is seeking permission to build two more floors to their house. On December 10 and 11, the MCZMA reviewed the application.

The report further mentions that if the application is approved, SRK and Gauri might spend Rs 25 crore for the construction work. Built in 1914, the Jawan actor's house is 2091.38 square meters and also has a six-story building attached to it.

On the work front, the year 2023 was amazing for Shah Rukh Khan, as his movies Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki were successful at the box office. In 2024, SRK had no release. Soon, the superstar will start working on Sujoy Ghosh's King, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan. Reportedly, SRK will play an assassin in the thriller film. The actor also has YRF's Pathaan 2 in the pipeline. It is a sequel to his 2023 blockbuster film Pathaan and also stars Deepika Padukone. He will also be seen in Tiger V Pathaan, which also stars Salman Khan.
