A few days ago, Mamta Kulkarni returned to India. The actress is back in India after 25 years. If you didn't know, the actress was accused of attending an international drug ring meeting in Kenya in January 2016. Now, the actress has claimed that she has nothing to do with Vicky Goswami's illegal business. She also stated that she had no idea about his meetings.

Mamta Kulkarni on drug case

The actress told News 18 that she knew Vicky and the case in which police mentioned her name; she went to meet him in Kenya. Mamta Kulkarni wasn't aware of the kind of meetings that were held there. She claimed that the cops put her name in the drug case and she has nothing to do with the business. The actress revealed that the Bombay High Court has given her a clean chit in the case.

Further in this entertainment news, Mamta Kulkarni opened up about being outside India for 25 years. The 90s actress said that she was searching for herself and is back for the Kumbh Mela. The Karan Arjun actress made it clear that she is not here to make a comeback in movies.

"I am happy with my life. Nor have I come to India for Bigg Boss. When I left India in 2000, I was a top actor in the film industry; I had 43 film offers. I left all this and now I don't want to come back to films," said the actress.

In the video she posted on Instagram, Mamta Kulkarni mentioned that she went out to India in 2000 and is quite overwhelmed as she is back. The moment she landed, she became emotional to be in the city. "I kept my foot outside the International Mumbai Airport and again I became extremely overwhelmed," said the actress.

Meanwhile, in 2015, Mamta was named in a drug trafficking case. The cops in Thane mentioned her name as one of the accused who allegedly supplied ephedrine for illegal manufactors of methamphetamine to a drug racket, which was of around Rs 2000 crore!
