Some movies take a long time to be made and the prove the wait was worth it! One such movie was released in 2018 and it received a lot of good reviews. The story of greed with a blend of horror was something the audience truly enjoyed. However, at that time, the response from the audience was not as great as expected. But one thing everyone knew was that making that film required a lot of hard work and dedication.

Tumbbad and its team's dedication

Our entertainment news readers must have guessed that the film we are talking about is Tumbbad. Directed by Rahi Anil Barve, it stars Sohum Shah in the lead role. The movie is loved for its riveting story, compelling performances, and brilliant VFX and editing. But to reach the final product as desired, Sohum and team had to put in a lot of efforts and had to remain patient for a very long time.

In an interview with Screen, Sohum Shah talked about the clear vision he had for the movie and knew that he would never project like this. Finding the right VFX team was quite a challenge, but he didn't give up. The team contacted a Swedish company, but their credibility was questioned due to the delays. However, Shah didn't settle until they achieved what they wanted.

The Tumbbad star revealed, "We didn't cut corners. We reshot when necessary, took time where needed, and ensured we perfected the product." The movie's team went to Cannes and convinced them of their vision. Well, we saw how phenomenal the movie turned out to be.
