Pashinyan and Macron discuss economic programs, visa liberalization with EU and Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement

YEREVAN, 8 November. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed Thursday Armenia-EU cooperation issues, as well as the dialogue around visa liberalization./pp
The meeting was held on the margins of the European Political Community summit in Budapest, the Armenian government's press service reported./pp
The two men were said to discuss Armenia-France cooperation issues. Pashinyan and Macron stressed the periodic nature of the high-level meetings, which give an opportunity to discuss both issues of bilateral agenda and other issues of mutual interest./pp
They also touched upon the issues related to the joint programs in the fields of economy, infrastructure and other sectors./pp
Pashinyan and Macron also exchanged views on the process of normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. Pashinyan emphasized Armenia's commitment to the peace agenda and the steps that will ensure regional security and stability. -0-/p
