Opposition MP accuses Yerkparah head of attempts to demoralize army

0

ArmInfo. MP from the opposition faction "I have the honor" Tigran Abrahamyan criticized the head of the volunteer union "Yerkrapah" Sasun Mikaelyan, accusing him of trying to demoralize the army.

"What message does a person who, being a close associate of Pashinyan  and the head of the Yerkrapah volunteer union, tell a soldier  standing on the border: "I am for demarcation of the border, because  we have no way to resist Azerbaijan" convey?

A person under whose command Yerkrapah is still on duty at the bottom  of combat positions declares that there is no way and no point in  resisting and fighting, and the most correct thing is to go for  another capitulation on Azerbaijan's terms.

Such a statement by a person with such a status in power is a heavy  blow to our defense and to our soldier serving on the front lines,"  the oppositionist is sure.

According to him, these statements are also a response to the  statements of the "inseparable couple" Andranik Kocharyan-Gagik  Melkonyan (deputies from the ruling party - ed.) that they are buying  weapons, building a "fortress" and working day and night.

"In fact, according to Sasun, all this is completely meaningless or  is it an admission that over these 7 years the government has been  doing a disastrous job in the security system and, in fact, no  serious defense system has been built. Moreover, the formulations  related to the plundering of the army are completely consistent with  the logic of the Pashinyan government, since, according to Mikaelyan,  over 6-7 years and especially after the 44-day war, the government  has not taken any serious steps to restore the armed forces and bring  them to the appropriate level of combat readiness. By the way, at the  moment this thought was expressed, someone from the outside shouted:  "You sold the country," to which Sasun Mikaelyan barely restrained  himself," Abrahamyan summed up.
