Mirzapur teaser released: Guddu Pandit and Kaleen Bhaiya to reunite, will Munna Bhaiya return?

Mirzapur is one of the most popular web series that has managed to keep everyone hooked to the screens with its twisted storyline and plot. Months after the release of Mirzapur season 3, now the makers have announced Mirzapur: The Film. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, Prime Video India shared a video that features Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Abhishek Banerjee and Divyenndu.

The teaser of Mirzapur The Film is a 1.30-minute-long video that hints at the return of Divyenndu, who played Munna Tripathi in the web series. Well, his character was killed in the second season and fans missed him in third season. Fans demanded his return and also slammed the makers. Divyenndu said, 'I'm a Hindi film hero. A Hindi film is best enjoyed in a theatre. Need I remind you, I'm immortal'. The video was captioned as, 'Diwali pe sabko mithai milti hai, lekin yeh lo, Mirzapur ki asli barfi'.

The Mirzapur film is created by Puneet Krishna and directed by Gurmmeet Singh. It will be released in 2026 and will mark the return of Pankaj Tripathi (Kaleen Bhaiya), Ali Fazal (Guddu Pandit) and Divyenndu (Munna). Abhishek Banerjee, who plays the role of the compounder in the series will also return.The film will be available for streaming to Prime members.
