Advocacy Society for the Arts` first forum held in Armenia
ArmInfo. On October 25, a forum organized by the newly created Advocacy Society for the Arts (ASA) was held in Armenia. As noted by the press service of the society, ASA has set out to elevate the Armenian cultural sphere on the global stage.
The event included panel discussions, speeches from guest speakers, a presentation of ASA activities, and an opportunity to expand professional networks. The forum covered topics such as policy issues, intersectoral cooperation and innovative strategies for advancing the Armenian economy. In this regard, Artur Martirosyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, highlighted issues with the continuity of the sectoral program and expressed his willingness to participate in the work of this structure. He also expressed hope that ASA would become an active social partner in identifying problems and fostering international cooperation. As noted in the press service, the ASA forum was funded by the European Union and the Swedish program "ArtNexus".
It is the first national forum dedicated to the economy of art and culture. The event was attended by government representatives, diplomats, international and business leaders, entrepreneurs, media and members of the creative community. The forum was organized by AGBU Armenia and the creative acceleration program Katapult.
