Bagrat Srbazan:  "Sacred Struggle" has one goal: to remove this  government

0

ArmInfo. The result of the "Sacred Struggle" must be one: the removal of this government, as stated by Bagrat Galstanyan, the leader of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement, in a conversation with reporters in parliament on October 17. He came to the country's legislative body to attend hearings, which were initiated by the Armenia (Hayastan) faction, regarding the draft statement of the National Assembly on Armenia's Declaration of Independence.

According to Galstanyan, parliamentary hearings are one way to inform the public once again and demonstrate that the events taking place are not only of local significance, but also lead to the loss of the state. "The ultimate outcome should be the removal of this government. No one is reacting because they are well aware of the crime they have committed," Galstanyan said.  Bagrat Galstanyan firmly believes that the underlying cause of all the current events is the Prime Minister of Armenia's strategy to involve others in his crimes to avoid sole responsibility. In this regard, he noted that the Constitutional Court has one authority - to assess the constitutionality of laws. "But the opposite is happening; they want to align the Constitution with a document that lacks significance," Galstanyan explained.

He further noted that the Armenian government does not even know which points are being agreed upon with Azerbaijan. He believes that as long as Nikol Pashinyan stays in power, the threat of war will persist.  "Against the backdrop of corruption, we have the loss of statehood, the loss of Artsakh, thousands of casualties and missing persons. Just one episode, and how much more can come to light. The issue goes beyond border delimitation and demarcation, it is a unilateral surrender of territories - a situation unprecedented in global practices," he emphasized.

Speaking from the podium of parliament, Galstanyan mentioned that the events in Tavush had impacted the entire Republic, undermining all the legal foundations of the state - from territorial integrity to changes in the constitution. "The struggle continues because as we strive to halt this process and restore our statehood.  While we were unable to prevent the surrender of Kirants and Voskepar, we were successful in delaying the surrendering of enclaves and new territorial concessions. This is not just an opposition movement. This is a movement of the entire political field, of all those people who grasp the gravity of our state's current situation. We have only one goal - to force Nikol Pashinyan and his people to resign and restore our statehood," Galstanyan concluded.
