Ameriabank to allocate AMD 100 million for investment and financing of students' projects

YEREVAN, 16 October. /ARKA/. Ameriabank is launching large-scale initiatives as part of ‘My Ameria, My Armenia’ project designed to support various areas of social life and youth development, the bank's press service reported.br/pp ‘My Ameria, My Armenia’/pp
Within the framework of ‘My Ameria, My Armenia’ initiative, a voting will be organized, and based on its resultsnbsp; AMD 100 million will be allocated from the Ameriabank's corporate social responsibility (CSR) and charity programmes' budget nbsp;to finance the selected directions./pp
There will be 8 areas for voting: children's health, education, sustainable development, small and medium business, information technology, science, culture and sports. Voting will take place from 16 October to 31 December, inclusive./pp ‘My Ameria, My Home’/pp
Until the end of the year Ameriabank will organise a big drawing for current and new clients of the bank who will have an opportunity to win a flat in one of the new buildings in Yerevan./pp
Until 31 December, customers can accumulate promo codes, which can be obtained in several ways: opening an account with Ameriabank, ordering a card, logging in to MyAmeria, making transactions via MyAmeria, making a payment via MyPay, making a transaction on MyInvest platform and inviting friends to become Ameriabank's clients, getting a mortgage and car loan via online platforms, as well as opening an account on Ameria Business platform./pp

Within the framework of the third initiative, Ameriabank and VISA announce a contest for all students of public and private universities in Armenia, where the best youth representatives will have an opportunity to claim prizes:/pp - 160 scholarships in the amount of AMD 50,000 per month for 5 months during the second 2024-2025 academic term./pp
- The top ten will have the opportunity to participate in a short-term student programme in one of the best universities in the world./pp
- The three best projects submitted to the ‘My Ameria, My Future’ competition will receive funding totalling up to AMD 10 million./pp
Students starting from the 2nd year of study, who are Ameriabank VISA Student cardholders and have an average grade point of at least 65%, but who have passed the tests with the highest grades, can apply for the scholarship./pp
In order to qualify for project funding or to attend a programme at one of the best universities in the world, it is necessary, among other things, to receive a high evaluation of the project itself, regardless of the grade point average./pp
The projects will be evaluated by an independent jury consisting of representatives of Ameriabank, VISA and independent experts from various fields.-0-/p
