Balotelli reportedly close to joining Genoa with contract agreement in place

Mario Balotelli and Genoa have reached an agreement for the transfer of “Supermario” to the Rossoblù, with a contract running until 30th June 2025.

According to *La Gazzetta dello Sport*, Balotelli will receive a salary between €250,000 and €300,000, with additional performance and survival bonuses.

This new venture for the former Milan striker, however, hinges on Gilardino.

The Genoa manager has approved Balotelli’s arrival, but his own position is precarious, with the possibility of sacking if the team loses to Bologna.

In that event, the new Genoa manager, potentially Sampaoli, would need to approve the acquisition of the free agent “Supermario.”
