Official Baku responds to Armenian premier`s statement on prospects  of unblocking regional transport links

ArmInfo.Official Baku, which does not hide its maximalist rhetoric towards the Republic of Armenia, reacted nervously to today's statements by the Armenian Prime Minister that if Azerbaijan does not intend to attack Armenia, hen there is nothing to fear, and all regional communications can be unblocked tomorrow based on the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020.

"The statements by the Prime Minister of Armenia made in connection with the trilateral statement of November 10, 2020 during his speech on October 12 at the forum 'Crossroads of Peace: combining security and democracy" are an attempt to distort reality," said Aykhan Hajizadeh, press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

He further assured that the statement by the Prime Minister of Armenia on the issue of opening communications with reference to the trilateral statement once again demonstrates "neglect of the obligations assumed by the leadership of Armenia."

"Point 9 of the trilateral statement clearly states what Armenia's obligations are to open communications, in what form control over transport communications will be organized," said the Azerbaijani diplomat, who apparently forgot that his country had already violated the other 8 points of this statement, including by expelling Armenians and occupying all of Artsakh.

Then he began to talk nonsense about the non-withdrawal of the Armenian Armed Forces from Artsakh and congratulations on the independence of the NKR, without saying a word about the occupation of sovereign territories of Armenia, about holding several dozen Armenian prisoners of war and civilians, about the appropriation of the Armenian cultural and spiritual heritage of Artsakh.
