Armenian delegation participates in first Open Children`s Delphic Games
ArmInfo.The first Open Children's Delphic Games of the CIS countries were held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, in eleven nominations of classical, national and contemporary art.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, the Armenian delegation of 53 participants also took part in the games with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia and the professional selection of the Armenian National Delphic Committee.
About 500 young talents aged 7 to 14 took part in the games. The international jury included 30 outstanding figures of culture and art. Representatives of Armenia performed at different stages of the games, winning three gold, one silver, one bronze medal and two diplomas.
The winners of gold medals were Hayk Danoyan (piano, 7-9 years old), Mari Vardanyan (folk instruments, 9-14 years old), and the Prof Art dance studio (folk dance, 7-10 years old). Hayk Julhakyan (piano, 10-13 years old) won a silver medal, and Maria Ghukasyan (art, 7-9 years old) won a bronze medal. At the first open children's Delphic Games of the CIS member states, the jury from Armenia included teachers of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory named after Tsovinar Hovhannisyan, teacher of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory named after Hakob Dzhagatspanyan, laureate of international competitions Marine Margaryan, director of the Art Dance Studio, choreographer Tigran Mnoyan, and president of the Armenian DJ Association Vardan Babayan.
