Yes, we are talking about Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Sooraj Barjatya wanted to have a fresh pairing and hence, he decided to cast Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor. He was confident that Sonam would be perfect to play a princess but Salman was not convinced.

Salman asked time to think and a month later he expressed his concerns with Sooraj Barjatya. He told him that Sonam is his friend, Anil Kapoor's daughter and is 19 years younger to him. He also shared that he has seen Sonam group and how can he romance her.

He reportedly told Barjatya that Sonam is too tall for him as well. But Sooraj Barjatya tried to convince Salman for five months and even Sonam was excited to be working with Salman.

However, Salman Khan finally agreed with a funny text to Sooraj Barjatya. He reportedly wrote, "From today, I'll call Anil Kapoor 'Anil sir'." Later, he even said that Sonam was the perfect choice. Sonam did not find it awkward to romance Salman and said in an interview that she loved working with Salman.
