Evra believes Pogba needs a fresh start and doubts he’ll stay at Juventus, plans to advise him with a call.
Patrice Evra has spoken about the reduction of the suspension for Juventus player Paul Pogba to RMC Sport.
“I saw him just three weeks ago, and he was very confident,” Evra remarked. “The initial punishment was very harsh as they wanted to set an example, but justice has now been served.”
The former Manchester United defender shared his close relationship with Pogba, saying, “Paul is like a younger brother to me, and I care deeply about him.”
Evra expressed optimism about Pogba’s future, stating, “He will return to the pitch and be able to train again, but I don’t think he will continue with Juventus.”
He suggested a possible career move for Pogba by adding, “He needs to turn the page, and I will ask Mehdi Benatia, the sporting director of Marseille, to give him a call, because the doors are open.”
