Opposition parliamentary faction "Hayastan" supports "Sacred  Struggle" movement

ArmInfo. The opposition parliamentary faction "Hayastan" supports the "Sacred Struggle" movement. Its only goal is to remove the traitorous government. This was stated by the secretary of the parliamentary faction of the opposition bloc "Armenia" Artsvik Minasyan on October 3 during the traditional briefings of the National Assembly.

According to him, the movement is a logical continuation of the  struggle that began after the brutal defeat in the 44-day war in  Artsakh in November 2020.

The "Tavush for the Motherland" movement started after an agreement  was reached between Yerevan and Baku on April 19 to begin the  delimitation process with the Tavush region, as a result of which  many Armenian territories came under the control of Baku.

Leading a march from Tavush to Yerevan, on May 9, the head of the  Tavush Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Bagrat  Galstanyan, called on the Prime Minister to resign. The demand for  resignation remained unanswered, after which Galstanyan announced the  beginning of acts of disobedience.  Then the movement transformed  into the "Sacred Struggle", which yesterday gathered a large rally in  the Republic Square in Yerevan, announcing the beginning of the  victorious stage of the political struggle.

"The struggle is existential, consistent, continuous, convincing and  patient", - Galstanyan said, noting that his supporters "have no  right to make a mistake in such a fateful period for the country".  "We have no time for despair, doubt, a feeling of helplessness. The  time for analysis, commentary and discussion has long expired. It is  time to clench our fists and act. I personally have fully dedicated  myself to this struggle, heeding the call of the Lord: I will wait  for everyone at the Republic Square, with a vision of the coming  Armenian victory," Galstanyan said. At the same time, he expressed  confidence that his supporters will achieve the resignation of  Pashinyan, whom he calls the "antichrist."
