Similarly, Rohit Purohit who plays the role of Armaan earns Rs 45000 to Rs 50000 per episode for the show. Garvita Sadhwani, who is the villain in the latest generation of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is said to be making Rs 25000 to Rs 30000 per episode. Anita Raj plays the role of Dadisa in the show earns Rs 25000 per episode. Likewise, Shruti Ulfat who essays the role of Vidya Poddar, Armaan's mother in the show, earns Rs 25000 per episode.

Talking about the storyline of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan and Abhira are married now. They are Mr and Mrs. But, their marriage is going through a tough patch as Vidya is very angry with Armaan. He went against her wishes and married Abhira. Vidya knows that Abhira cannot become a mother and thus cannot carry forward the legacy of Poddar family. Armaan's mind is occupied with these thoughts and is unable to be a good husband. Abhira is struggling. Meanwhile, Dadisa has offered a job in Poddar family.
