Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met on the margins of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York with the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Maltese Minister of Foreign and European Affairs and Trade Ian Borg on Monday, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported./pp

It said the sides discussed issues related to the OSCE activities and decisions during Malta's chairmanship of the organisation./pp

The sides touched upon the current security situation and processes in the South Caucasus./pp

Reaffirming the interest of the Armenian side in establishing stability in the South Caucasus, Mirzoyan stressed that it is important not to create artificial obstacles on the way to the conclusion of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and to sign the treaty in short terms. -0-/pp nbsp;/p
