Call Me Bae web series starring Ananya Panday is currently the top trending one on Amazon Prime Video. The web series is fun as it revolves around a rich girl who goes poor. The story takes a drastic turn when Bella Chaudhary loses everything after she gets disowned by her family. She travels to Mumbai and the struggle to survive begins. Stars like Orry and more have cameos. Lisa Mishra plays a pivotal role in the web series. She is Harleen who is a producer of a prime time show in a news channel. How Harleen and Bella's paths cross is something you need to find out. But one thing that this series made quite popular is 'behen code'. In a chat with BollywoodLife, Lisa Mishra shared if Behen Code exists in Bollywood.

When asked whether Behen Code trend prevails in the film industry, Lisa Mishra said, "I think we're seeing a lot of camaraderie and a lot more strong friendship between women in the industry than we had before. I think that's got a lot to do with the fact that there are more seats at the table. And although the competition is just as tough, it doesn't seem as impossible as it might have been 15 years ago, 25 years ago. It's still very tough. But the more women that you see in these positions of power, the more women that you see on screen, you get a little more confident and you start supporting each other rather than competing as if there's, you know, a lack of resources. So I am really happy that we're in this great phase in the industry where women are supporting each other and helping each other. Although the industry will never stop being competitive, we just are seeing much more camaraderie than before. And that's directly because there are more spaces for women to fill." She also stated that she shares a behen code with Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar with whom she will be sharing the screen space with in her upcoming project The Royals.

Here's a Call Me Bae video

Before making her big acting debut with Call Me Bae, Lisa Mishra made it big as a musician. She is the voice behind songs like Tareefan, Chandigarh Mein, Coke 2.0 and more. When asked what made her switch from music to acting, Lisa said, "I think I've grown up always wanting to entertain. It wasn't as big a switch as it looks like, because since I was a kid, I've always just wanted to make people happy by performing whether that's performing on stage or on screen or singing as long as I was performing, I was very happy and it was just a matter of time before I think I branched out and I don't think it's as big a departure as it looks like it was actually probably harder for me to change from being a data analyst to a musician." But does that mean music will take a backseat now, Lisa said no. She plans for both to go hand-in-hand.
