Along with the duo, the show also features Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur, and Archana Puran Singh. The show received mixed reviews from the audience. However, the last episode received a great response in which Sunil and Krushna mimicked Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

In an interview, Sunil Grover has opened up about the act and Salman Khan's reaction to it. When asked about the memes that went viral after his performance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, Sunil told the Times of India that he saw the memes and felt good. The actor-comedian stated that whenever people appreciate his work and share positive reactions, he feels good. Sunil was worried about Salman's reaction. He revealed that they all had fun doing the act, as they had put in a lot of effort.

When asked Salman Khan's reaction to his mimicry, Sunil said that the superstar didn't feel bad at all. 'He, I think quite liked it,' revealed the Jawan actor. Archana Puran Singh, who was also a part of the interview, stated that the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star can never object to such things as he is quite sporting. Rajiv Thakur stated that Salman must have seen such bad mimickries; this was a good one. Archana added, "Yes, I agree. Gandi mimickry karne wale bohot hai na Salman ki (there are many who do Salman's bad mimickry)."

What the audience loved about the performance was that Sunil Grover often mimicked Shah Rukh Khan and even the superstar loved it. Seeing him do the unexpected and enter the stage as Salman is what astounded the viewers and his performance was hailed a lot.
