Rep. Byron Donalds: The Left’s Rhetoric Against Trump Is Disrespectful And Disgusting
Florida Republican Congressman Byron Donalds joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to react to the second assassination attempt against former President Trump in just the last two months.
“The first assessment is really, really, really grateful that President Trump is safe, that Secret Service was there. The agents that were, I guess, ahead of him in his protective bubble. You have to commend them for their swift action. And, you know, the sheriffs in Palm Beach and in Marin County doing their job. So thank you to them for their service in a swift way they took care of this. Look, I’m just going to cut straight with you. This political rhetoric from the left is what’s lighting the stuff on fire. This guy’s social media sounds like Harris’s social media sounds like Biden, social media or any other Democrat, AOC, Nancy Pelosi, Jasmine Crockett don’t matter. They’re all kind of saying the same thing. This is threat to democracy stuff is a lie. They know it’s a lie. It’s just politics because their agenda is awful. And look, my thing is, if you if you want people to vote for you, then have it be because of what you stand for. But all they’re trying to do is have the country live in fear. And then you get nutcases like this guy who want to act on the fear that they’re pushing, and it’s got to stop. And look, we talk tough in politics. We all do. But we’re not running around talking about who’s a threat to the end of America. We’re not. We’re saying that policy’s terrible for America doesn’t work for these people. If you want to make the country great, you should vote for us. Here’s what we want to do. But this rhetoric from the left is disgusting. And the fact that the media can’t even take a week, let alone a couple of hours, to at least put themselves into a box and just be quiet is really disgusting.”
Jimmy and Rep. Donalds also share their thoughts on how Democrats don’t want have a real conversation about the economy or the crisis at the U.S. southern border. To hear what else they discussed, listen to the podcast!
