Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Mohsin Khan has a huge fan following. He was loved for his performance as Kartik Goenka and his chemistry with Shivangi Joshi has been the best. People cannot forget the beautiful jodi of Kartik and Naira ever. Mohsin has been away from TV shows. He did music videos and a web show. Recently, he was in the news ever since he made a shocking revelation about his health. He has revealed that he took a two and half years break and his health was the reason.

He spoke to Pinkvilla and said that he had fatty liver and he also had a mild heart attack last year. This came as a big shock for his fans and the story created waves in Entertainment News. He was even hospitalised and revealed that they changed 2-3 hospitals for the same.

Mohsin Khan did NOT suffer heart attack

Now, Mohsin Khan spoke to Etimes and clarified that there was some miscommunication and it was not a heart attack but gastritis attack. He said that it was an innocent grammatical error which caused this confusion.

He clarified that he wanted to say that he had a mild gastritis attack but in the flow of the conversation he said he had a mild heart attack. He further revealed that he wanted to say that in December last year, he suffered a gastritis attack, which can cause pain in the abdomen and chest pain, similar to a heart attack.

He then went on to speak about why he didn't clarify this immediately after the interview came out. Mohsin Khan shared that he has always refrained from giving any interviews because he is a very private person. However, he did that interview because they were discussing about his struggles, work but the health part of it only went viral.

He said that the heart attack thing went viral and he thought he should wait till the hype goes down and there is no more confusion. However, he feels his well-wishers should know what exactly happened and there is no need to worry now. He added that he has got a lot of love in these years and he is grateful for it.
