Frank Pallone: Additional funding will help bolster Armenia`s  democracy

ArmInfo. Additional funding will help bolster Armenia's democracy and strengthen its economic and security independence. Frank Pallone, Co-Chairman of the U.S.  Congressional Caucus on Armenian issues, wrote about this in his  microblog X.  

In this regard, he reminded that the amount of  financial aid to Armenia will be doubled.  "Glad to see the  Biden-Harris Administration continues efforts to fortify relations  with Armenia by doubling its aid package through USAID," Pallone  wrote.

Recall that a day earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and  USAID Armenian Mission Director John Allelo signed the amendment to  development cooperation grant agreement  between Armenia and the USA.  According to the document, the funding will be doubled from $120  million to $250 million. In addition, the areas of joint projects  will also be expanded.
